The Estonian Television Girls' Choir will represent Estonia at Eurovision Choir Of The Year 2017 in Riga. The Estonian Television Girls’ Choir was founded in 1990 by Aarne Saluveer who is also the choir’s artistic director. Under Aarne’s leadership the choir has developed into an internationally recognised group of musicians. The choir’s repertoire ranges from spiritual and secular music of different ages to folk programs with choreography, modern pop and jazz music and innovative crossover projects with 30 singers taking part, all this summing up to a musical experience of undiscovered acoustic scenery. Today the choir is comprised of about 25-30 singers aged 15-25, most of whom have a musical education and earlier choir-singing experience.
WATCH the full episode at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, 6th May 2014, on Lyoness.TV! For this edition of ZOOM our reporting team visited the north or, more precisely, Estonia. The capital city Tallinn is a city of contrasts -- a place where modern telecommunications technology and tradition meet. Around 185 kilometres from Tallinn, in Estonia's second-largest city Tartu, the Lyoness Child and Family Foundation supports a social care facility for mistreated children and cases of hardship. Lyoness.TV attended the opening event following renovation.

Tipp TV was a mid 90's TV station from Tallinn, Estonia, at UHF channel 45. It was transmitting in PAL, while other terrestrial channels were still in SECAM. They aired music programs, series and I think also movies. These have been received in Helsinki, Finland, there was no problem receiving it 80 km away. Our house didn't yet have cable or satellite, so it was nice to have an alternative source of music videos. Music used in these is Goldie - Timeless, MC Hammer - It's all good. Not sure about the first one, it might be a mix of different things, but somehow I think I once heard something like that. If someone has whole versions of these or other Tipp TV stuff, please upload and leave a comment. I'm not very good at finding Estonian stuff because I can't fully understand the languag...
